splinty- why what a strapping paw!     w/trollperle, you are a true princess mermaid! the beach seems like your second home in the second picture--look at that smile!! (and the bracelets are tdf)

joolz- what a sweet photo--the dress and the ponytail! your dad looks very loving, it seems like you might have the same eyes? (not as sure about antennae    ).

cloverbead- these photos are so great! i love your facial expression in the second photo and the flowers in your hand, all so sweet! the bracelets are a perfect match.

fera-- are these photobooth photos? what a great vintage/throwback feel! your parents look so cool   --i bet you had so much fun. the peace sign glass suits it so well!

polarchick--this first photo is super w/the beach themed leather--and look at your long braids! still, the last photo takes the cake! w/that gap, it is all too too cute!

minty--first, please tell your mum her bracelet is wonderful! TFS! now, you look like you are singing to the flowers here and ordering them to grow!

I have been away this week but found a picture of me in my Mother's photo collection before I went, I will try to post it tomorrow.

Wow this is a great topic, I am pretty busy with the birthday from my little girl at the moment, but will try to add a cute looking pic from the time that I was young. Indeed, @anita, it feels like memory lane.
Very pretty pics from all of you, it kind of feels like I'm watching pics from nursery school and seeing girls who were in the same class as I, weird, I know

Me as a blonde. In my mom's flower garden. I'm glad I'm not the only one with a black and white picture.    Not many pictures exist of me - lots of moves and one fire. When I was little I liked trinkets, little bits of glass and 'found' treasures. I remember a dream I had, I had a box full of just the most fascinating little bits of treasures - I was soooo disappointed when I woke up and the box evaporated from my grasp.

I made a bracelet representing things I had or would have liked in those days. Okay, there is a skull. Dad was an a amateur archeologist. He had a box of bones in the boat house. It's okay, the university knew he had them. I used to play with them.

I had missed all of the posts since Reltan's first one, but it has been such a JOY going through all of them.

Indeed, you are all perfect little versions of your beautiful selves, PLUS each and EVERY bracelet in this thread, without exception, is COMPLETELY GORGEOUS!! So much beauty in one place!!

I will go and rummage through my photos to see if I can find one of myself as a child, but I think my mom still has all of them at her house. I only have photos of my own children, but I will see what I can find.

As I expected, I have almost no photos of myself as a child here, but I found a couple which are pretty special to me.

Christmas 1972 - looking on curiously as my mother kisses my father (and eating candy, of course)
I just made up this bracelet to go with my hair
I still have reddish-blonde hair, green eyes and freckles.


And here is one of my (also red-headed) lovely Grandma reading to me (I still love to read).



I think my bead obsession is related to the fact that I've always loved miniature things. When I was little, I loved to play with small porcelain & pewter figurines of animals, imagining a tiny world for them. I think I love my animal silver beads the most, but the beads on this bracelet all hold a special meaning.

This has been such a fun thread. I hope we keep it going, prize or no prize.

This is a school photo of me taken when I was about six.
Like Stacecase I have always loved small things so my favourite beads are the small silvers, particularly the flowers and I like them with the pearls to make delicate and pretty combinations.

Stacecase, your pictures are prizeless! - Kissing parents and story telling grandmas are the best And I love your hair colour and the bracelet very much!

And Cottinghamgirl, you look so happy (especially for a school photo !) and studious at the same time. And your beautifully elegant bracelet catches the essence of your photo beautifully

My mother thought that's what I was! No one else did, though, sadly.

i was a very solitary child who loved the company of animals--rabbits and pigeons and chicks and puppies--or my imagination--especially fairytales and creatures. that little girl must carry over into my bracelets today as so many of my silvers depict animals or fantasy. this my favorite (semi)permanent bracelet, a bit rejigged for spring. i don't have many pictures of myself...in this one i'm 1 yrs old. looking forward to meeting more of you--what a wonderful idea Reltan, and a wonder-filled thread!

These old photo book are tricky with memories coming up and one thing leading to another.
This is how my mum tried to keep me under control: dressed up in sundays best, handbag, white stockings, long hair tied with lovely bows - unfortunately she failed completely: growing up with my older cousins and the neighbor's boys, I  was the kind of girl, who preferred to climb on trees   

I found it difficult to find a photo of me as my parents are currently abroad and have all the photos. I only have a baby photo and this one of me as a little girl - which is a photocopy of a photo, which is why the quality is poor.

Anyway, this is me aged 3 a loooong time ago, blond hair and blue eyes, and looking incredibly like my son at the same age (just take away the pigtails and it could be him!). At this age I was playing a lot with my dear puppy Shandy, who lasted until I was 19 years old, and making mudpies in the garden. I still love tartan, still have Teddy (a bit worse for wear), but have no idea about the hat!
