Re: Maritime knot bracelet
TY all!
Yes, as you have to tie the knots with one hand ... I very nearly put a knot in my fingers the first few times I tried! it gets easier with practice though.
LL, I wear it both alone and stacked, my favourite look is wearing it with a mini combo, a TS silver bracelet ( sans charms) and my new light blue leather. Hope to post some action pics later.

Wow! absolutely stunning. I love the knotted look and all those Clovers, I have extreme Clover envy! It's right at the top of my wish list and I hope one day to stumble upon one or two myself.

So was I, until I noticed that they can only be used with the clips, not with standard charms, as the ends can't be undone. I thought about destroying the silver part that holds them together and simply tying the ends, but the macrame band is too stiff to be rolled or folded, which one would have to in order to push a bead into the middle part. Guess I'll just have to freshen up my macrame skills...

Fabulous idea and great look, but you forgot this bit in your description:
"When all done, don't forget to clip off the silver ends of the straps that say 'Pandora' "

Noooo! Then the stopper will fall off and the knot will come apart!
Maybe it could be erased somehow?

I do. Wasn't that Anna's DH? I could be wrong...
But I definitely remember the tool he purportedly used! What's more - I have a dremel, too!

I'll never forget that dremel story. I often think of it when I wear my naughty dragon.
Snork, this bracelet is so cool! What a great idea.
I'd love to find a clover patch like that one.

Re: Maritime knot bracelet
I saw this gorgeous bracelet and as I read all the marvelous comments, I never expected them to lead to such a funny story.
You should just leave it, right? It's OK for Pan to do something right once in awhile isn't it? (I think,,.maybe?)
The beauty comes from your creativity!

So clever and pretty! Watch out for MMP's dremel
