Summer Release 2018

My LD shared a tiny photo of the Summer release. These beads become available May 18th.
Blue Ocean is similar like deep ocean from last year, but with a blue base, looks very pretty.

Other beads are silver shells (finally!!, I have been waiting for a long time for these).
Anyone heard more about the new Summer release?

First I've heard (managed to forget there's a summer release somehow   ) or seen of this.  I think you've scooped everybody, Daisylove!  I didn't get 2016's Deep Ocean bead because the details were so small . . . now I'm wondering if I'm going to regret that.  Up till now I haven't done shells but the Zeegrass & Kabbelende Golven might tempt me.

I saw them IRL a few weeks ago when the rep at the shop I work at brought them in for us to see, I love the crab lock so might be tempted to do a sea themed bracelet! I will be getting the blue ocean bead but I’m not liking the €85 price

The Deep Ocean was 75 euro, last year. Pity that Blue Ocean is more expensive. I think both could be great on a sea themed bracelet.

I saw the pics from one of my dealers, too. Saved them, but don't want to get her in trouble.

I did not like last years Deep Ocean, too busy and too tropical. This year's Blue Ocean is much the same, so not for me.

But the silvers will be fab, I think! Crab, hermit crabs, conch shells---exactly what I see on my beach. I don't see starfish and seahorses here, so those beads never really thrilled me.

Ooh, I heard it here first! Beach/ocean is probably the most popular theme I haven't collected at all. I'm excited to see what other people do with it, but I'll definitely be waiting to see how TB have executed the theme before making my mind up about starting a new bracelet. It's very appropriate for the season, but I can't help wondering how TB are going to improve on the many good seaside beads already on the market.

My LD also forwarded the photos to me via email and I am considering the crab lock...the ever increasing price for all the beads has deterred me from buying anything for a while--which is why I haven't posted in a while

Louey--since you have seen them IRL, can you comment if the crab lock big enough to justify the price?  Or just as small as the seahorse lock?

I have a few of the deep ocean bead, which is great on the FN and bracelet--not sure I need the blue one...

Finally a TB friend send me a screen shot from the website that is no longer available, so I could take a look...
I love the conch beads, as I thought they should have released more seaside beads much earlier... The crab lock looks promising, but I have to see it...
And the blue ocean bead.... Last time I said I don't like or need one and I got one later despite the fact...

These beads have great detail.  The 2 little round ones appeal to me.  The rest not so much since I am not a beach person.

I have ordered the Ocean bead - I love the teal one and now I hope that the blue one will look as beautiful

I do love the look of these, just wondering where to put them. I already have a full 'seaside' bracelet. Just not sure if I want two.
