X by Trollbeads
You see the announcement on d4e today? Is a shame it will not be from them.
Even they can sell with no discount will be beter.
It is a wunder that the retailers will carry only the trollbeads line.

Re: X by Trollbeads
It is very strange to discourage a whole group of established customers from buying their new product. If they think I am not good enough to wear X, I am quite happy not to give them any more of my money.

Maybe they're not trying to polish the 'sh*t', but roll it in glitter?

I am sure that someone has already remarked that 'Where there's muck there's brass'? Did you say that Panda?
Who would guess that rubber and brass bracelets were going to be sold as exclusive products?

I agree, I love (some) of the beads, but have fallen out of love with the company !
I am not bothered at all by the whole X thing, it seems to me like its a totally different product made by the same company, why would I be interested ? sounds like they have seriously pi$$ed off D4E though which doesn't seem like a clever move.

I was just starting to feel interested in X but now I see that they despise their dealers and their existing customers so who gives a d*mn?Fuzzyfeet wrote:Wildthing wrote:Strange, not in the world of troll, in the world of good business sense and good customer relations, yes, but we already know troll does not give a shiny sh*t about either

I had been encouraging my LD to stock X. I had better phone them tomorrow and tell them not to bother.

X By Trollbeads
Kappel Gold, Silver & Watches / Diamonds4ever will unfortunately not be able to offer X By Trollbeads to our customers.
It seems that Trollbeads has decided that none of the normal Trollbeads dealers, who offer a discount on their webstores, will be able to carry the new line of X By Trollbeads jewelery.
We are obviously very sad - Trollbeads Denmark will not even enter into dialogue with us. We were very arrogant rejected by director Peter Damhus Monday 9 September when we tried to get an explanation as to why we could not become a dealer of X By Trollbeads.
We refer to Trollbeads at info@trollbeads.com for further information.
Sincerely,
Team D4E

Re: X by Trollbeads
Somewhere, maybe here or endangered trolls blog, was an article on the Australian distributor of X. I believe the article stated that the reason why the woman took the job in the first place was that the distribution channels would be different. So, I am not surprised that any normal LD will get this product. It makes me wonder where it will be sold though.
I will not be buying this product. I am too invested in TB.

Re: X by Trollbeads
Oh don't even get me going.... Why on earth is Trollbeads always and forever determined to play these stupid, infuriating, pointless, bad-for-business marketing games??? For the life of me I just can't figure it out...it seems as if they are hell-bent on alienating and angering as many dealers and customers as they can, as often as they can! They are sadly, horribly, mistakenly misguided in their marketing, yet again. If ever there was a company crying out for a CEO to direct their marketing, TB is it. Don't they get that these marketing schemes make ALL their products LESS desirable, NOT more desirable?!? Good grief, enough already. Okay, rant over

Re: X by Trollbeads
Okay, so it's something expensive they don't want me to buy and they don't want anyone to sell it to me and if they did it's not going to be at any location I'd be able to find...
I remember a Bvlgari shop in New York -
Me: May I see the...
Salesman: ...flicking a polishing cloth... No. Harumph....turns his back on me...
Guess how much Bvlgari stuff I own. Yeah, that's right, none. Not that they care, I suppose.

Re: X by Trollbeads
When I was 13/14? and on a school ski trip in France, I had the opposite.
I lost my eyeliner and was having kittens because all of the makeup in the shop was too expensive and I couldn't be seeeeeen without eyeliner (teenagers ). Anyway, this lovely French Lady on the Lancome counter gave me an eyeliner, because I had good taste (more like creating drama).
I have never forgotten that and always buy Lancome.

Re: X by Trollbeads
Well yes - the only sensible marketing policy for this product is to offer all potential customers as many free rubber links as they need to get round their wrist if they buy a metal lock. That might generate similar customer loyalty to your Lancome lady's kind gesture.Pandabee(uk) wrote:When I was 13/14? and on a school ski trip in France, I had the opposite.
