Girl Power

Back in May I did the London Moonwalk for breast cancer and as a means of rewarding myself for a gruelling 26 mile walk at night in the rain (who knew May could be so damn cold at night!) I bought myself the 'walk' bead. I then promptly forgot all about it until it fell out of my bag a few weeks back ( )

I've finally pulled together this pink ensemble with the walk bead - it's kind of hiding round near the lock, but it's there! It's not my favourite bead ever but whenever I look at it i'll get a sense of pride out of the £5k three of us raised that night, it was worth the cold, wet, abject misery after all! (it will also serve as a reminder to me that there are easier ways to earn money for charity and this one possibly wasn't my best idea ever)

I think you've done a great job with it And raising £5k is definitely something to be proud of!

This is so appealing. I love that it is pink with depth and not the typical cotton candy pink color of the breast cancer foundation.

I have been thinking of looking for the Walk bead. l like the random texture of it.
