needless to say, I love this stuff!

What a cutie! I like this style a lot - especially with the rainbow bracelet and the matching colors of the silk band - very pretty!!

Is it because I am not a full member here? Or some kind of block of my IP by the pic-upload site. It is a bit odd .. does anyone else get that message instead of the picture?

You should send a PM to the admin here I don't have an answer for you but I'm sure she will.

I think it is the pic-uploads.de site I tried following the pic link through to source and it still denies me, there are two download now buttons on the page and when I click those it says not available in your geographic area. I think it is the photo hosting site blocking me because of my country.

it closes like all the pearl bracelets, there is a little ring that you push up and then you tie a knot with the 2 leather ends, not visible here,

Is the inside "stiff" like a silver/steel ring or is it supple? I've been considering it several times but am not fond of the closure...

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly, the bracelet itself is not so stiff, at least that is my opinion, it feels very comfy to wear, first I thought the leather would disturb me, but it does not, the bracelet is very very light compared to a bead bracelet.

so here is how to put on your bracelet:









first pic shows the bracelet with the little ring in the middle of the leather band
second pic, I have put the bracelet on and the little ring is still down
third pic, now I have pushed the ring up
last pic, I have made a single knot, but maybe you want to do 2 knots.

the leather is slightly stiff when new but becomes very supple when used, it then doesn't stick out so weird like on this pic.
