Monet Garden with Catherine Michiels silk

Beadgirl got me hooked by showing her great silks on facebook and last week I got my first Catherine Michiels silk from Nadja's. I love it and here it's playing the background for a Monet Garden with a TB mini combo:

I love this! What a perfect combination! Is that 1 or 2 of the silks? I haven't considered the silks before, but I really am inspired by this, Mermaidspurse.

Oh, this is a beautiful display... I think that the bridge is my favorite spiritual bead... it looks really great shown this way, your ribbon holds it upright so nicely, you can see all its floral ornaments against the ripples of the silk!

I love monet... this bead is still on my wishlist.

The silk bracelets are growing on me more and more because it just looks so amazing with the silvers and the trollbeads bracelet next to it.

The silks can be very addictive too

It's one! I have smallish wrists, so it's wrapped around 4 times, not much silk left to knot, but it works to tie the knot with one hand and the help of teeth !

Thanks for the response, and the hint with the use of teeth! Mine my get stained with lipstick, so I will use my trusty bracelet buddy. But in a pinch, it's good to know!

PS...I never really cared for trollstones before, but this Monet's Garden theme is just so lovely. I think I need the same silvers, too.

Beautiful! I think in this picture I realized for the first time how the bridge bead is designed. I've never seen it IRL (or I didn't recognize it, I don't know )

This is just perfect. I love the color of the silk and how you put your beads on it.
I thought the bridge was not a bead for me but Now i must go to the juweler and see the bridge irl.

I thing I prefer silk to leather. It is really nice
