My greyhound has arrived too!!!
I was staring to get a bit worried about my lock - but it turns out my new greyhound lock had been captured by the evil customs pirates and I had to pay a (smallish) ransom to have him released!
Anyway, I finally tracked him down and he is now in my possession. I am so delighted with him and want to say a very BIG thank you to Sita and Pansycat for all your efforts in getting him for me - I can't imagine I would have ever got one otherwise!!! I am thinking hard where to use him. I do have some bracelets I don't take apart but I don't think the beads would suit him. I am undecided whether to have him fixed for ever or whether to get a clasp and be more flexible. What nice choices to have to make!!! And an excuse to do another bracelet!!
Happy happy news! Thank you so much once again!!

So happy it arrived! Too bad about the ransom...
I really hope it was only a little bit, please let me know!

I'm very sorry about the ransom too! Let me know what tripped me up. If I ever send again to England I'll try to do better. I am glad he arrived though.
I fixed the one end permantly, but the other I have attached with a little jump ring so I can add and subtract beads as I want. It surely is the lovliest lock I think.
Wear it in good health.

Re: My greyhound has arrived too!!!
I had a tough time deciding what to do with my greyhound lock too. I put lobsters on both ends and concluded if I didn't like it, I could take one off later and put it on a bracelet permanently. Thinking of it as a "temporary" solution made me feel better. If I decide I don't like having a lobster on each end, I am hoping I will also know what bracelet I'd like to have it on.

If you think it difficult to decide you can also use the greyhound lock together with other TB locks...
I don't have two Freya locks but it gives an idea how to use these...

That is a good idea Sita to use two regular locks with it. Hopefully I will get pictures of my lock posted tomorrow.

Re: My greyhound has arrived too!!!
Thank you everyone for your wonderful ideas about how to use my lock. I am still deciding and I do have a bracelet which someone bought me which is too small - so that may now get a new lease of life!! But I have also remembered that it would go very well with one combo I rarely take apart. Decisions decisions!! And I also LOVE it with the red leather above!
I have just put a new topic up about our customs regulations, in case that might be helpful
I am still on cloud nine!!!

Lucky you! It is such a divine lock, I just adore it. I had mine permanently attached on one end and don't regret it one bit as I can change it up when the mood strikes.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
