Can't get my Trollbeads book

I just learned through this forum about Acotis today. What a beautiful website. I was incredibly happy to see that they had this book with the free java bead available. I quickly grabbed it into my cart, only to find that they will not ship it outside the U.K. Does anyone know if this is because of Trollbeads restrictions? I asked Acotis to please explain and am waiting for a response. I thought maybe some of you trollies might have some insight here. I've asked my local dealer but she is almost as new to Trollbeads as I am and she doesn't know. Can anyone tell me anything about this and/or the other Trollbead books? Are they worth desiring? Are they worth the effort of the hunt??

I think (but don't quote me on it) that it is down to weight Vs postage.

Are you in the US? I can ask my LD to weigh theirs and work out how much it'd cost for me to post one out to you if you like?

Just a thought, as I don't know what the postage is, but have you tried Amazon? I know they sell it and it is often a very cheap way to send things internationally.

I know I am coming extremely late to the party so the point may be moot. I have the "Icon in Design" Trollbeads book and they do not appear to have the same information. Is The "New" book being sold currently is different than the older Icon book?

The book in the acotis picture does look an awful lot like the (free) German book .... and not like the (expensive) Icon coffee table book

I thought it was. I took a quick gander through my book and saw none of what was pictured on Acotis. Are there any older books/catalogs that have the retired beads listed in them available anywhere? And as this acotis looks different, I may have to purchase that one soon...

This book is the same as the first German edition !
It´s only a small book. Two books in an envelope are under 1000 grams weight (2,2 lb)

They were also available on Amazon, that is where I ordered my copy. The book is well worth the money.
