Trollbead pouches
We are having a clear out at home, and DH has found a whole carrier bag full of Trollbeads pouches- the full extent of my addiction is no longer a secret!
Now I'm left with deciding what to do with them. There are all sots of pouches collected over 5 years.
Any suggestions? It seems a shame just to throw them away

I am happy to take them off your hands if no-one else has any more imaginative suggestions...useful packaging for sales

Re: Trollbead pouches
Maybe you could make „bundles“ (throwing together a bunch), take pictures and offer them for shipping costs here on BT?

Can you sew? I have a similar sack full of them and thought that they would make an awesome quilt. Ok, so I don't have enough for a quilt--perhaps a pillow. I cannot sew or this project would have been completed already.

Yes indeed, also my thought - make a quilt or a pillow

Re: Trollbead pouches
oh...a little quilt or a pillow...that sounds completely awesome to me, I also have some nice ones, but I don't have the time to do this, but the idea is one of the best I ever heard of!

I have kept one example of every bag I received and the rest I use for packaging swaps.

I like the sound of this. Did you have a bead in each pouch (instead of chocolate)?

Re: Trollbead pouches
They could also be sewn into a scarf, belt, or a larger tote or drawstring bag...or you could sew them randomly onto a shirt, hoodie, denim jacket or jeans, at different angles like patchwork:)

The first year it was 24 beads but it's expensive so last year it was half beads and half lindt chocolate bears.

There are some great ideas here. Anyone got any pictures of anything they have already done?

I always took my extra pouches back to my dealer for her to reuse.

I've stopped taking the bags, for this very reason. I have nightmares about a trollbead intervention.

I don't take them anymore either. I always have an empty bag in my purse to use or it goes right on a bracelet.Pandabee(uk) wrote:I've stopped taking the bags, for this very reason. I have nightmares about a trollbead intervention.

Re: Trollbead pouches
I really like the idea of a quilt, not that I have anywhere near the time to do it. I usually give them away and I don't usually get them when I purchase beads. The small white ones are ugly and I toss. I like the different ones from different countries and keep them. I have one from world tour south africa and I am wild about it and keep my south africa beads in it when they are not on a bracelet.

I don't take the pouches when I buy in person, but I still end up with one or two from on line purchases

I do not take the bags anymore either. It was the strangest thing. They were multiplying in the dresser drawer. So I cleaned out the infestation, took them back to the LD. The pillow sounds like a cute idea, if I liked to sew
