No more bead pouches?

I just read this on an ebay listing - "As of January 2013 Trollbeads are no longer supplying branded fabric pouches for their beads." Apparently the pouches are to be replaced with single-bead boxes.

Will the baggies now become collectible?

A few days ago I got some beads from Beads4You and Mrs. Paul sent me the beads in a kind of plastic box, I thought it very good as a protection for the beads even though they came in a padded envelope...
Think them also useful for shipping when selling beads, wish I had more of them..

There is no fold flat boxs ether. I have been told that in UK it is the black boxes with the white square to be used now.

My valentine set came in 3 individual bead boxes. I did wonder.

That's alot of boxes when one purchases a few beads at once!

The pouch and box much better for storing flat! Although the bead/ ring boxes look stylish

swag managed to get the entire lime green kit in one box! My amazon beads don't come with packaging though.......

I like the little boxes. I wonder if they'll fit through the post office size checker though or if it means online stores will put the postage up

My last couple of orders came with the boxes - they are very strong and nice looking. They will take up more space than the pouches tho......

Mmmmmm......I have about 150 original pouches! Can I selling them now like retired items?

Some of my beads that have come in the mail(from Tivoli) Have come in boxes and I think they are great.

But surely boxes cost more than pouches, I discard the pouch or box and store my beads in my bead box. I guess boxes are nice when giving as a gift but I suspect many/most TB purchases are made by the TB collector rather than given as gifts. Who ends up paying for this 'nicer' packaging??

I wonder if they were originally ring boxes that got recycled - a bit like baby's breath beads!

I received my lotus bead & klimt box yesterday & still got a pouch. Thank god!

I think the boxes are classy and they would be nicer for shipping. I have saved all of my packaging, but I doubt I will hold onto more than ten boxes.

I love the boxes, but keep several pouches in my handbag and refuse to accept any packaging
