Doris Bracelet

I made this in honor of my late grandma, Doris  

The pink beads are because she loved pink, cells because she was a breast cancer survivor, butterfly for the beautiful person she was and the changes she over came in her life, letter D is for Doris, venus for womanhood and that she was a such a strong woman, high heel because she loved shoes~something we share in common, catching hearts lock because I love her and miss her.

Wanted her with me today for my mom and I's annual visit to Apple Hill.

We go there every year for the most awesome, fresh pies, pastries and cider for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What a beautiful Doris  bracelet, so full of warmth and vibrancy    I love the meaning of all the beads and how you've told her life story...and the lovely spark from the gold cells...and with Harlequin described as "youth, charm, passion and carnival" that seems like a wonderful celebration of life too  
Glad you took her to Apple Hill with you, looks like a special day out, gorgeous scenery..and yummy pastries! Raising a cider to Grandma Doris too, hope your special bracelet continues to bring comfort with those happy memories

Thank you   Yes that is the weather here now. Its freezing at night and cold/chilly during the day but always sunny. Apple Hill is on the way to the mountians so no snow there yet. If I could choose to live somewhere else it would be at Apple Hill, its just perfect. I had to laugh at your question  only because I am longing for real winter weather... sitting by a fire watching snow falling queitly from a glowing but clouded sky, seeing the glittering blanket of snow first thing in the morning...sigh...I miss it... Lets swap!

I totally agree,let's swap  I think I would love Apple Hil! But Holland is boring also eh,we have much rain. Austria is better,they have snow now!
