Why is the making a lock to be with the production beads and then only sell in a set to people have already got bracelets?  

And will buy more than one bead or lock and not more of chains. It is limiting of sales. And is most expensive to start of. So very stupid.

Come on Michelle - you know perfectly well that they are doing it to encourage us to buy ALL the new release beads to fill up the new chain.

They just don't learn do they? They certainly haven't listened to previous complaints about selling in sets.  

I may be in the minority here but I think this isn't completely bad, at least it's a new bead and a new lock. We wouldn't be buying it and getting a lock we already have like most of the others. I can understand why people wouldn't want to buy both but personally I love them both.

I will be in the market for a new bracelet for the flower beads so i'm not too upset. I don't want the Aurora facet though so will need to find someone to swap with!

I'm sure they'll be many willing to swap

I dont know why they limit it. If you can buy the lock and the bead singles they will sell to the collectors and then make the set for new people only not just the set.
It will not make me buy all new beads  
I hope is in set only lots of people can complain on Face book.

I like 3 of each lock and have 30+ chains I will want may be 2 facet aurora.

 
All I can say

I resisted the bangle "deal" but I will definitely need the faceted aurora.  

I'm hoping to find someone to split the set with.

Yeah, agree. I might have considered the lock but don't want to have to think so hard about this. I don't want another bracelet. And I'm not on Facebook (nor plan to be) so I'm not going to be swapping the unwanted bits around with anyone.

I am waiting to hear the price before I decide whether this is really good or bad.  The Aurora/Bangle deal was expensive if you already had a bangle.  If the chain is free in this case and the other 2 components are reasonable prices it might be OK. The problem comes if you want two or more beads, only one lock and no chain at all.

I just don't like the limited part about the new lock and the facetted aurora

I don't need an aurora, but I want the lock. And a bracelet is not to bad too. I guess I have to look for someone who wants make a deal with me :-) and split up te set & costs.

Than we have a deal, if you let me buy the set :-) (I want to check the mechanism of the lock myself). We will work things out as soon as the release is a fact? I promise you I will search for a beautiful aurora, you can tell me your preference of course (more blueish or more red, big or average)

I agree with Michelle though (I think it was Michelle) - by all means have a set for new collectors, which means they get a free chain, but why not sell them singly as well?  I don't like the bead at all, but I'm very interested in the lock.  I guess I can always use another chain, but I don't want to have to fork out huge amounts of money to get the lock and then have to try and sell on the bead, probably at a significant loss...

 I think the current promo for a starter bracelet was on the lame side. So, this promo will certainly boost sales. I also agree that some people will not want to buy both, but then again, we have the forum and so that won't be so bad now. I would love both, personally.

The closer we get to the fall release, the more I get excited for those flower silvers. With the addition of the new flower lock, I am even more excited. I think this will become a cherished bracelet. Remember when the WT ended and there was going to be another release? A lot of us wished for a unifying lock. Perhaps someone listened.

Lastly, who couldn't use another bracelet? Seriously! I love having ready-to-go bracelets to select from in the morning.
