Trollbeads Fall 2013 sneak peek

I think TB have done quite a good job overall! (the diamond, the pram and grandma and grandpa are the exceptions, they show no creativity or uniqueness of design but I understand the reason for their being and I am happy to let them go to those who will buy them as gifts.) The glass is very interesting, quite unusual and imaginative. The silver flowers of the month are better than I expected, there are some absolutely stunning designs there and the pearls don't bother me, although they might have used some pink or black pearls as well to mix it up a bit. My favorite is skelly (skeletons are supposed to be skinny, they are just bones after all! and I like his pose too) I quite like the little crown and can see it getting lots of use. And I imagine (hope) the sapphire is better looking IRL. I will pass on the etched glass though, while creative from a design standpoint it just doesn't appeal to me. Overall not a bad lot, imho. I like the crown (not sure if it's too cutesy because of the heart, have to see it first) and the silver flowers. Although I'm also slightly worried because of the pearls.

I like the flower glass, too, it will be interesting to see how they look IRL.

Love the first Group og glas and silver, not the second. But there will be several of these going my way, for sure. Finally a release I'm excited about  

Some of the flower designs are fabulous...little works of art. I am particularly drawn to January, April, and August. The Daffodil is also intriguing. None of them are cute and I like them better than the Mother's Day beads.

As for the glass, I can wait until there is a sale! I think I like some previous kits better (Rocky Beach and Indigo).

I am very excited for the aurora kit! My aurora bead is one of my absolute favorites and I'm excited to see some matching ones. Not too excited about any of the silvers except maybe the crown. The whole flower series is too much of one thing and that diamond bead is awful! Hopefully the people's bead has some good silvers!

That lock does not look appealing at all. I would never guess that is a water theme unless I already knew. And we could really use a great new lock! Come on mermaid or dragon lock!! Skelly is great but honestly I'd never wear it. I'm actually very excited to see the rubber links bracelet and think it could be really cute!

I too hope Troll isn't trying to be like Pandora. Pandora already has the cutesy market covered and we want our funky artistic Trollbeads!

As for the glass i love the aurora kit, the others Id have to see first. The silvers.. why the pearls? Since when do flowers have pearls? Some designs look good but i bet theyre going to be expensive. As for the other silvers.. well lets say I'm going to continue hunting down retired beads.

I was naughty today and bought some silvers at half-price. One was the four elements. When I look at the new lock and saw that the water was illustrated similar, I wonder if they made a little serie of locks with the element theme! I would love it!

I LOVE the engraved glass and the purple heaven glass kit. The other greenish/yellow glass without the blobs sticking out are ok, but those protrusions don't appeal to me.

For the silvers, I LOVE the skelly...definitely need that one, and I really like the water lock, just hope it isn't too light/flimsy. I also love the flowers, but wish there weren't pearls in ALL of them, or at least different color pearls would be nice. I'm also afraid the pearls are going to make them too expensive.

Wow, I am so looking forward to this release now! The glass is just fantastic. I love the purple set - my first reaction when I saw the pictures was I had to have the whole set, although I could probably pare it down to 3 or 4 if I tried really hard.  The Native Elements are different and fun - I think those could make a really fun bracelet. I like most of the flowers, especially the Chrysanthemum. I also rather like the new lock, although I'll have to see it before making up my mind. The skeleton isn't to my personal taste, but it's a cool bead. Thanks for the sneak peek! I keep coming back to stare at them again and again!

Thank you for the photos!!  The only glass I like is the striped one in the same colors as the aurora bead.  I would have liked some of the silver flowers if they didn't have pearls.

I don't think I read one comment on the new leathers. I would be interested in seeing them in person. I really don't like the taupe leather, so the darker brown would definitely work and the grey/black combo would be so bold as all black. I am more of a brown than black girl, but I am eager to see them both.

Swisstroll, what do you think of the four elements bead in person?  That is one of the ones I plan to get for the project I just started, but I've only seen it in photos so far.

Looking forward to this release. The Water Lock looks interesting, and stronger than the last new locks. Loving the Purple Heaven kit, purples and ambers are just my favourite and they will look lovely with some of my artisan beads including my Christa artisan 'aurora'. Several of the flowers look pretty (I love flowers beads) but the pearls will be a worry. Also like some of the other glass, the colours would take me out of my comfort zone, but that can be a good thing.

Does anyone already have one of the new two-tone leathers?  I am considering the black/grey one when it is released, but I do sometimes struggle to fasten and unfasten my existing mark II style blue one (i.e. silver ends, but all one colour).  Also, some beads do have a tendency to slide about on it.  Does anyone know if the two-tone leathers are different?

I have a two toned leather from a few months back and i love it! Probably my favorite bracelet as i wear more leather than silver bracelet. My glass beads don't slide on any on my leather bracelets, not even on my old and worn a lot brown one. All though my mom has a beige one and they do slide on there... really excited about the new brown bracelet, im also more of a "brown" girl

I always suggest to people that have problems with their leather to have a jump-ring attached to the leather end of the bracelet (where you hook the large end of the lock), makes it easier to do up.
Some of the Tb beads have larger holes than others so yes, they will slide along on the leather bracelets.

I have both leather versions and they are the same with regard to fastening and beads sliding.

UUs do slide as do some of the silvers (those with a bigger hole). If you use a black one, rubber rings might be a solution. I put them on DH´s hobbit beads bracelet and now there is no more moving around going on

Fastening goes better, if you put the end underneath the wrapped around leather so that it sticks a bit out. And the lock makes a difference, too. For me, Freya´s lock works best with leathers (probably the plain lock, too, but I do not have that one).

I use the plain lock on my old leathers it is ok.

Has the silver caps end come off any leathers? I want to wear mine 24/7
