Show your Mother('s Day) bracelet
I feel like making and sharing a bracelet dedicated to my Mom!
Who would also like to participate?
Think of your Mom, let your love for her choose the beads to be on your bracelet...
Now, I'm off for some Mother's Day trollplay. Will be back in about an hour.
I'm very curious to see how your love for your mother is shown beadish.
I'm excited and also curious about what my bracelet will look like. It will have her pet name, her favourite colour, our common favourite pastime... Unfortunately I do not have a carnation bead, it is her favourite flower... But it will be a beatiful, loving bracelet.
Now, girls, which of your beads show the love you have/had for your Mum best?

Reltan, of course you are free to choose whatever comes to your mind when thinking of your Mum.
But maybe I misunderstood what you wrote?! Did you mean that you need explanation about the beads the others choose to express the love for their Mother?

Re: Show your Mother('s Day) bracelet
It was a lot of fun making a b'let and a bangle for my Mum! It was a bit of a challenge
a) to take the pics since it is grey and raining in Munich, but in the end they turned out well and
b) to limit myself to a certain number of beads. I was very inspired and could have made many bracelets.
Now, to the beads I have chosen for her:
°°° Glass bead pumpkin: It is our reciprocal pet name
°°° Coffee mug: She absolutely loves coffee. This is her favourite coffee mug when she is visiting me:
°°° Hugging bear: She loves bears and this Gingerbread heart she brought my DP and me almost 3 years ago from the Oktoberfest.
°°° Buttons: Approx. 2 years ago I complained on the phone to her that the buttons on a certain jacket keep falling down. Next time I visited her she surprised me by sewing all buttons -except for one which I sew myself 3 days ago- with some sort of fishing line . NOW the buttons are soooo firmly fixed, never again fell one off. I even think they will survive the jacket itself...
°°° Cactus: She has a lot of them!
°°° Trefoil knot: I have a brother and a sister.
°°° Blue glass beads: Blue is her favourite color.
°°° Power Chakra: She always "empowered" me. Always told me that I can achieve whatever I want, as long as I really want it. It is true. Miracles happened and will happen.
°°° Honey Dew ambers: She loves honey.
°°° Expectation and Pram: Well, that is self-explanatory.
Did I forget sth? I will check later.
Now the pics:
I will send this and post a few more pics in a second post.

I can't believe what just happened
The second part of my post was already finished, I just checked one last time before sending... Decided to amend sth, pressed the delete-button a few times (too often!?) AND EVERYTHING DISAPPEARED!!! I'm so furious right now!!

Re: Show your Mother('s Day) bracelet
After having taken a few deep breaths, I can start anew.
So, additional bead information:
°°° Cards: It is our favourite common pastime.
°°° Lioness: It is her star sign. And she (like most Mums, I assume!) also IS a lioness when it comes to her children or grandchildren.
°°° Roses: She loves flowers, most of all carnation.
°°° Brown desert: She discovered it at my LD on my 39th birthday. 2 days later I received it as a gift from my DP.
And now the remaining pics.
°°° This pumpkin trivet is a gift from her.
The pumpkin between expectation and cards is a gift from my Mom for my 39th birthday.
*******
Dear fellow Beadenthusiasts, thank you for watching my declaration of love for my Mom. I felt the urge to express my love for her in a beadish story, and now that I have I am very happy and satisfied.
I have to admit that when taking pics of her favourite coffee mug or the buttons she sew, I felt a little bit stupid for a few seconds. A little voice inside my head said "Hey!, what are you doing, THAT doesn't belong into Beadthrilled!".
But my heart answered loud and clearly "That's the way I want to tell it, so this will be it!!!".
It may appear foolish, but "I DID IT MY WAY".
Have a nice Sunday everyone! I'm off to the kitchen to prepare some pasta.
It occurs to me that the same post could also consist of one single pic, showing the cards between the two pumpkins.

My dear Pumpkin, I love you soooo much and want to thank you for giving me roots when I need(ed) them, and wings when I need(ed) them.
I hope you have many healthy, happy years to come!
And with regard to your wish to have more grandchildren: I'll see what I can do!

Re: Show your Mother('s Day) bracelet
My mom is great, but she dislikes my Trollbeads habit, so no bracelet for her, BUT here is what I wore today:
