Trollbeads Spring 2013 release details

This is very US promote to get more Pandora custom? I have visit some UK stores that dont even get them for they dont sell so much here. I wunder if this is a UU kit if they will in UK be send back. It will an other good way for uk lds to stop selling tb.

I agree to BB it is make life more easy not to spend if the beads are UU.

Perhaps Troll put that photo of the beach kit with what appears to be UU cores, to gage reactions from people.( We are lab rats LOL. )I think they are going to be small core since they will be put in the line.

O it is not a suprise the breakfast man is ill. He is still legless for the night befor. my frend told me of this legless in uk is very drunk.

Why don't they stick to making UU as Limited Editions only... release a few in different color schemes every year to maybe win over some Pandora buyers? The beads that make it into the regular TB line should look and feel like TB, in every aspect including core size.

In the photo dose stone flower and pebbles look of UU core also? In the kit photo it is in the front and is same as cliff bead.

There are only 6 beads in each kit ... I am pretty sure that just the variation of the beads is being shown, they have the exact same item number ... I still think it is an awesome release with such a great range of design, surely there will be something for everyone I personally feel they will stick to the UU in OOAKs and cc in the production line, we will have to wait 25 more days to find out

I absolutely love all of the glass and stone beads in this release! Only a few of the silvers appeal to me. This is probably one of the best releases ever in my opinion just based on these photos. Some of the silvers are disappointing, reminds me of the childlike pandora style. Maybe they are trying to widen the age base with these silvers. Overall I am happy with this release!

I must have the rocky kit! I prefer classic core, but I won't let universal core deter me. Right now I'm angsting over how I'm going to collect all the colourways when I can only shop blindly online...

Well, well, well - what a surprice! A new HUGE release, and so fast after all the new ones in 2012...... Can you tell, I think it is to much and to fast?
And sadly the result is thereafter: They are not sharp enough! Sorry, but I realy think they are to "cute" or "child"-like. Not the beautiful detailed old style beads, that I love.....so sad to see. The locks could be beautiful if they vere correct proportioned and detailed - the dolphinlock look like Pandora.....
Non of the glasses will be to find in my collection, for sure. The only exception is the stonebead and the Elderflower-versions, which I think is lovely. And maybe, just maybe, the FN dolphine pendant will turn up quite nice, when I see it some time......
But overall, I'm dissapointed about this release. And I do think TB is milking the marked and taking out the excitement of waiting, when they make so many boring releases.....
But this is of course just my oppinion

Considering that the Troll bracelet and locks are in the same price range as a lot of the beads anyway, it makes sense for people who are new to Troll to just buy the Troll bracelet - I started with Pandora and that's what I did. I liked the look of Troll for Troll - the silvers as well as the glass, the amber(!) and gemstones, and after seeing what Troll could be I had no desire to just add a UU or two to my Pandora bracelet. Pandora collectors can always wear their Pandora beads on a Troll bracelet if they want to anyway (I've even seen all Pandora on a Troll bracelet, and thought it looked ok).

I think that Troll would do much better to push their bracelets and locks rather than their UUs, which I doubt will turn people away from Pandora in themselves (especially because Pandora buyers already like the Pandora that they have bought, and the Troll UUs mostly don't match it). Troll has the ultimate versitility, and I would choose it over Pandora in a second. I have a few Pandora beads that I will use on my future Troll bracelets, but I don't think I would ever use Troll on Pandora.

Edited to add: I have no problem with Trollbeads making UUs as an option, but I don't think that a production Trollbead should only be released as a UU. If I wanted a pretty bead that wouldn't fit perfectly on a Troll bracelet, there are lots of even more carefully produced artisan beads to choose from already!

I can not stop looking at the photos of this release, I adore the rocky beach kit and the new gemstone!

I really like the seahorse lock....but would like to test it irl first.

I don't really like the new silvers. I like the more robust look of the old ones which I think set TB apart from all the other bead system brands like Pandora. That also applies to the new locks. I wonder which of the old locks will go. The colours of the glass beads I like.

I think this release is so big because there is going to be a retirement of beads (even tho I don't know the date yet, nor the exact beads that are going to be retired). But I know that the promotion they had with that Joy and bla bla Lock and bracelet (that plain one) that the lock is going to be retired.

On the other note, I am disappointed as well... I only like the Seahorse lock, but I need to see it IRL to like it or hate it.

The one we have now - they retire, or you can call it replace if you like, to a new one that is smaler/lighter . Same design.
I have seen the difference between them, and it is a huge difference. You can really see that the new lock are smal, compared to the old version. So sad

At first I wasn't very keen on the glass but after looking at the pics of the individual beads I think Sandstone could be interesting if it is a blue/grey shade, I could see it with blue desert.

I think the Rocky Beach glass will look great with the Blue & Brown Deserts and also with browner/darker ambers. Stones such as Zebra Jasper, Red Tiger Eye, Blue Tiger Eye & Labradorite will combine very well with them. These are great beads for men's bracelets. I'm excited about the Silver Urchin because it's the closest to the old classic TB silvers.
