My Gemstone Bracelet

Some of you might remember my plea for help with colour a little further down the page, I was stuck in an all silver bracelet wearing rut but had fallen in love with the gemstone beads and was looking for help/inspiration on adding to what I already had.

First came my 2 Agates and beautiful Chalcedony... Then this weekend I picked up a lovely smooth rose quartz in London (as well as organic hearts which my OH chose and bought for me) and it was just too hard to make it look right with 4 beads, so I had to be a little bit naughty... and could not resist this beauty... so this tourmalinated quartz arrived with postie this morning

I really liked your all silver bracelet but this looks so soft and beautiful. Well done. I bet you'll be hooked on making all kinds of combinations now.

I just wrote a big post with individual replies and posted but... it seems it was lying to me!!

I am falling asleep on the keyboard so instead... I will just say a big thank you to everyone for your kind words, I am indeed completely hooked on stones! Really pleased with 2 new quartz, and fuzzyfeet the glow in the sunshine is amazing... but quite distracting :p

I've only just started on my gemstone journey. I've always lived other gemstone jewellery but there was always so mangy glass TBs to distract me however last week I bought an aventurine, a tourmalated quartz and a pearl and am hooked! All your gems look delicious and and they look so pretty together.

Beautiful! I received my two rutilated quartz today when I got back from the trip, and they are as beautiful as yours! They are my first troll gemstones, and I can't wait to get more! I fell in love with them!

Oh, I can see myself getting easily lost with gemstones. If only I had more money...
I feel like I want them all! but the next one on my list is a couple of chalcedonies! just need to see where I can find good ones for sale online, I saw some beautiful ones in Amsterdam but I couldn't justify getting them after the amount of money I had spent on beads within a couple of days.

Hehehe, I will keep an eye out for chalcedonies online for you. I absolutely adore mine, it glows all day long! I would love another, but must be good for now... I was extremely naughty yesterday. Bad Kate.

lindakm - Yes just easing myself in I think! I have changed it a little, I will attach a picture of how it is now below.. I got a faceted rose quartz at a great price so moved things around to try and make it work, ended up like this.. with my very pale agate removed. However that is sat with a couple of very pretty jaspers.. and a couple of jades and another faceted stone that are waiting for an arrival in the post tomorrow to make up a completely new bracelet

.. not that I am in any way addicted, or out of control when it comes to Troll.
