I can relate I had the most beautiful wildcat in my cart (different seller) and when I went to pay I was told it was sold. I guess it is like Splinty wrote about the massive high then followed by a massive low. You will find your dillos one day and they will be even better than these.

To me, it isn't even just bad customer service (which, of course, it is) but, if they make a practice out of this, even with interest rates being as low as they are, they are making something off of the money you paid when it takes them a couple of days to process the cancellation. While the amount they got from you may not be much, if they do this to 100 customers, small amounts can add up quickly! Even though I am challenged technically, there have to be ways that once an item has been paid for by a customer, it disappears out of other customers' shopping carts before they, too, can pay for it.

@Silverbells - I can only imagine how disappointed you feel - I know how disappointed I get when I have something in my shopping cart and go to pay for it, only to find out someone else beat me to the punch!

@Louey - Great haul - I would be thrilled to find just one of those dillos at a regular OOAK price!!

Hahaha - she has just phoned me to say that two of us bought it at the same time.

I said 'Goodness me, I am a member of the huge Beadthrilled forum and there is a huge row going on about you at this moment.'

She said 'It is terribly rare.'

I said 'No it keeps happening and referred to the Limited Gemstones and how furious people were'.

She said 'It only happened yesterday because of our new system.'

I said 'But you were just telling me that it happened again today.'

She apologised.

I said 'Are you going to offer me another Armadillo?'

She is going to look at the colours and phone me.

PS She has offered me a dark brown one and we are negotiating.

Oh dear, I promised myself I would be on the wagon this month and yet I have just ordered 3 beads from them Sad

(At least I removed the dillo I had in my cart to make it 3 rather than 4 beads!)

Why are the prices diffrent in the uk? I have see some ooak beads at £35 in the normal core and this are at £26 and they are new listed.
Diamonds beads are about £35 if not in buy 6 get one free.

It was a very very dark red that looked almost black

I am a very happy person now because the lovely lady at Joshua James has sorted it all out for me and I am looking forward to receiving 3 Dillos for £63 (dark red brown/dark green/grey). Embarassed Laughing Laughing Laughing cheers

Oh and for those watching these listings, you might wish to look out for Dillos that are:

Pink
Purple (two I think)
Bright Green
Red
Blue (maybe more than one)
...and possibly others because I didn't ask about pale colours.

I gave her a scaring about the 1,000s of Beadthrilled members talking about the problem with their system. I think that they may be a bit more careful from now on.

I really want to say how nice the lady who phoned me was and how she went out of her way to find me a replacement bead like the one that I lost. Her customer service was perfect.

I know that JJ's checkout system has it's flaws, but I think it's fantastic that they offer generous promotional discounts and are still selling their ooaks at £26. Lots of room for improvement to avoid disappointment of double sales but at least they're not charging the earth.

Congrats Louey, Splinty and BB on your armadillo hauls. cheers
