Rolling Waves Empty Rolling Waves

Post by Catsworld Fri Aug 19, 2011 8:00 pm

hi,
today was not a nice day and I needed a treat, so I went and bought the rolling waves bead...
I love the design, however, the bead has to be put at the end of a bracelet, and the bracelet mustn't be stuffed, otherwise you won't see the lovely design, I have been playing a bit with it... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes not only rolling waves, also rolling eyes...
very lovely pattern

Thanks for posting these pics Catsworld! The rolling waves look so much better IRL than they do in the stock pictures (as usual). It looks beautiful Smile. I love the colours in the first picture too by the way Smile, have you posted this combo also?

Thanks Catsworld! I love the look of the bead on your bracelet but you are correct, who's looking at it from the side! The way I pack my bracelets, there's no way I could benefit from having this on my wrist! I love your pics though!! clown

wonder what it would look like on a fantasy necklace??

I think sun circle also looses some of its beauty when on a bracelet because the details get covered up- but seems better on a FN.

it would be fun to play with the moving waves on a necklace!!

I like it with the Viking beads. Was thinking of it with the kimonos. You're right about the placement problem. I echo your hmm... On the other hand, I know I'll end up with it.

It really is pretty! I really don't mind that most of the design element is on the side; it's sort of like a secret pleasure.

I love the fact that the waves "roll" but I get your point that you don't get the full effect unless you can see it from the side. You've photographed it really well and I love your silvers and your silver mountains!!! Laughing

Mom and I went to the dealer today to see Rolling Wave, but she did not get it yet. BUT we did get a preview of the new beads. I am happier than expected.

Rolling Waves is so cool!! It will be my first purchase!

Fast work, Thanks for posting pics of Rolling Wave on your bracelet!
I think that it looks great and specially from a side view...sometimes it's nice that not everything is obvious, a hidden beauty.. Smile

I see what you mean about this bead---looks nice from the side but rather ordinary when you look at it from above----Love your silver mountains though!

Thanks for the pics ~ I still love it, it's nice having the rough with the smooth elements, just like the sea (is it me or does it look a bit like the Baltic mushrooms bead with its shiny caps at some angles?)

TrollTech and I are going to a different dealer Saturday and we hope to find Rolling Waves there. She is right about seeing the new Fall beads and I'll admit to liking more of the release than I thought I would. (I did pick up one but I shall purchase the rest from my home dealer, next week.

I love all the non-human silvers and I know that I shall eventually have at least one, but probably more of them.
