The Rocks and the Water

Beautiful weather here but very hot for me. I was imagining how nice it would be if I could have this weather and be in my favourite place in all the world.

The wonderful thing about these beads is that with the addition of only a few coloured beads you suddenly have lots more design options. My WT Baltic Ambers and new Golden Thread allowed me to make this combo which reminds me of beautiful Highland beaches and the rocks and the turquoise water (when the sun is shining).

Yes it is. Mine is an odd version too with more colours in the glass but less defined white lines (they go straight up from the bottom centre rather than spiraling around the bead). I'd like a more defined one as well one day.

Gemmy bling! Makes me think of the bright summer waters with the edges of fall creeping in on the trees at waters edge.
