Rocks in the snow Empty Rocks in the snow

Post by Rogotroll Sat Jan 26, 2013 5:19 pm

I've stolen Stacecase's idea of taking photos in the snow while we still have some.
Today I got Sandstone and Cliffs, they have gone straight onto my blue/ brown bracelet. I will be taking Trinity off and will replace with, maybe, Zanzibar, as the bright colour is too , well, bright here..
I loved the RB set, and plan to get the rest of them at some point, but I was very restrained and just got 2. The agate in my LD was pretty, and I liked the starfish, although the silver was fairly smooth, not as much detail as in the stock photo. The small silvers were tiny and insubstantial, so will not be on my wishlist.

Serenely beautiful I love you The green part of the Trinity reminds me of a Snowdrop fighting its way through the snow and looking about cheeringly. Today a flower lady at our local supermarket had the first snowdrops for sale - so spring is out there!

I agree. I like the little green leaves growing amongst the stones of this gorgeous bracelet.

Fabulous! I love what you've put with the new beads and I really like the contrast that Trinity gives on your bracelet.

You know how you get an email every time someone posts to a string you have participated in? I LOVE it when I get another on this string - I get to look at the bracelet again . . . I am really taken with this one. Thanks for sharing, Rogotroll -- I also like your avatar with all the ambers!

Just beautiful, Rogotroll. As usual! And Trinity is just fine there.

@ Mavis---the pentagonal silver is the cap on The Nightingale, a silver/gold bead.

Perfect combi...... these match, new rocks and "old" ones. Love

But the spider didn't survive in the cold snow, he is laying on his back.

You will all be glad to know that my spider has warmed up and recovered from his time in the snow- don't think he liked it so much!
