When I die I want an old Norse god complete with thunder and lightning, baying hounds, and sword-wielding maidens to come for me. Although the odds of my dying in battle seem kind of remote (I kinda hope!) and they never seemed to be big on gathering up just any old peasant, let alone a female.

I can't wait to see this amazing treasure... did any other nerd besides me see the PBS show on recreating the great Viking swords of Ulfberht??  I hope this lovely maiden is holding one of those magical swords that were given to the fiercest warriors in the land!Viking sunny

I saw on FB that the Valkyrie was available for pre-order on Monday and ready for shipping on the 17th of October. I can't see it on the FaeryBeads website.

How do we order this if we don't do Facebook?
