Hrist - Ice Valkyrie

As much as Aždajan craves the dark tones of dark amber, volcanic ashes and ebony, Hrist feels the most at ease with shades of ice and night blue.

I love that bead!!! I am looking forward to the fall release. I have birthday money burning my pocket, but I want to see the new release before I choose.

The icey blues are stunning, they remind me of "ice candies" I ate when I was a child, I'm not sure about the translation here, but they were ice blue candies that felt cold while chewing on them.

Love your combo   I only recently saw that there are actually 'greyhound' or dragon heads on this side of the shield (I have it too) but always thought they were just swirls    Maybe I need some glasses

The ornament bead I got a while ago form Macrows own artisan sales and it was a bit of a different colour IRL than on the picture and at first I did not really know what to do with it. It went on the Tibet bracelet but would always stand out as the odd one, so it went to the bead box for a while. But when Hrist saw it, it became hers, and believe me, you do not argue with a Valkyrie if she sets her eyes on something

Minty: That is my favourite side of the shield because of the dragon/wolf heads. I have a carving very similar to this (with dog heads) that I love dearly and it always reminds me of it
