"New" OOAKs

I'm so annoyed about the price increase for the 'very new' style OOAKs, but browsing the net, I have to say, I was quite speechless how good some of them look ! Really styles I've never seen before, but WHY do they have to be that expensive ?

I believe they are priced at 38 or 39 GBP -- wowzers!

That particular seller increased the price on all of her OOAKs. Some are old uglies, lol.

Sorry, but I don't get the point, why these are 39 € now. Just because it's possible to raise the prices?
The last two doesn't look very appealing to me.

These are the same type of beads that Macrow have been selling for at the old price for months. They are nice but there is nothing new about them to warrant the price increase.

I am not going to pay more for them. It is daylight robbery to charge that much for relatively simple glass beads. In fact, I am going to stop looking at OOAKs so that I am not even tempted. Does the extra income per bead justify the fewer number of beads that will be sold?

My pleasure in TB is slowly fading away... Part of the fun was the collecting. I still love wearing them, but my collection is big enough now, I will only buy some worldtourbeads as from now.
I love the blue dots , but even 28 euro's is too much to charge for it.

I love that first one, and enjoy waching it - but buying it - NEVER.
The new prices are to high.

The first 2 are nice but as others have said they look the same as have been available from Macrow's for months. I definately won't be buying at £38. After all they are just glass

Hunting for OOAKs was always so much fun !
But I haven´t seen any new ones yet I would buy with the higher price.
So....no more OOAKs for me !!

I saw ooaks in a shop todY at £35 each, and they were not new style.
This shop also had gemstones beads at £35, because she said they were ooak gemstones........Did I miss another pay rise?

I think that these are beautiful beads, but the prices are seriously getting out of hand. I cringe to see what dealers might mark them up to.

I like the first and the fourth, but would I buy them at that price ?
I will probably buy the odd Ooak now and again, but nothing like the amount I used to buy.

Clearly there has been a lot of confusion about the OOAKs so Trollbeads Germany has informed (online) retailers to adjust the prices of the beads to:
UNIQUE/OOAKs 2010: Recommended Retail Price: 28,00 EUR
UNIQUE/OOAKs 2011: Recommended Retail Price: 39,00 EUR

TB is expecting we will not mind the new price for the 'improved/better' OOAKs...

Guess that will apply worldwide?
