Passsage to India
Someday I hope to go visit India, with its rich culture, sights and colors. E.M. Forster's book haunted me when I read it as a teenager. I was finally convinced to buy the Indian elephant by a dealer who raved about its detail. I generally don't like large silvers but I loved the new barrel silvers and phoenix/griffin (to the left of golden cave), which are quite prominent so I needed another large silver for balance. Putting it at the end of the bracelet near the lock worked out well, like a coda. The elephant is on the outer side of my wrist so it is noticeable. It also stops the bracelet from sliding to the clasp side. One day maybe Trollbeads will have (east) Indian-themed beads.
