Bullfrog Steampunk Beads

I'm always on the lookout for unique beads and have found what I believe are the perfect rough & tumble bead! They are called Bullfrog Steampunk beads and can be found here: www.bullfrogichingbeads.com They are all one of a kind beads so, yours is the only one of its kind! I've found them to be extremely cool but also extremely expensive so tread lightly...! I purchased five of them and have received four of them with the fifth arriving on tmrw. Enjoy!

They really are pretty incredible! I love just how unusual and "meaty" they are. They wear really well and add that special bit of personalized oomph to my creations that just makes them zing for me!

I would love to see them on a bracelet could you show us?

I'm working on something right now...I used one on my Capp/HU/OE bracelet and the remaining three I put on an all artisan OE bracelet...as soon as I can get some pics taken, I'll put them up...give me maybe 10 minutes or so...

Hey Chuck, I see you discovered my friend Jim Jones beads! Aren't they wonderful? I had been trying to talk him into making these wonderful beads for TB bracelets for a year now and he finally took the plunge. For those unfamiliar with Jim's work, he is one of the most admired glass bead artist in the country but has decided to make Steampunk beads for now. He alway follows his creative muse. His work is superb. He is a creative perfectionist and one of the few artists whose work I collect as often as possible. His work is extremely collectable and unique.

I just checked the website and found also some very very beautiful glassbeads in nice shapes, must find a way to get one or two of the glassbeads for my bower-bracelet and perhaps on of the steampunkies.. they really are very special!

In case anyone wants to know, Jim collects old clock gears, antique watch parts and rare brass gears from around the world to make these beads. You really wouldn't believe how long it takes for him to make just one of these beads...

Knowing what I do about the work, the time and his perfectionistic methods, I would venture to say that his price, though it seems a little pricey is still a bargain.
They are truly works of art.

BTW, Jim is very reclusive and will not join Facebook or social media sites no matter how many times I try to nudge him in that direction, so I will send him your photos Chuck. I think he should see how beautiful they look on your bracelet.
