I am trying to assemble a Steampunk bracelet...something that embodies that futuristic Victorian vibe. This is what I have so far:

I chose Waterlily because it is modern. I selected Thor's Hammer to represent machinery. I picked Jugend and Art Deco to be Beauty.

What would you add? It could be production or uniques. You all are very creative! I want to add the new bumpy style bead with the double bumps followed by a center circle/bump in a repeating pattern.

Oh course, nothing says Steampunk like the Bullfrog beads Shocked , but I will have to make do without until I manage to save the funds!!

Nothing screams steampunk quite so much as an octopus Smile

What a great idea for a bracelet, and I love your choices so far. What about the waves bead? I think a bead with that kind of movement would look great and quite industrial, as well as linking to Jules Verne... water/steam... Atlantis? I can't wait to see which beads you choose and how it looks at the end!

I love the idea of a steampunk bracelet.
What about adding smiling cylinders and black silk ?
When DH saw smiling cylinders for the first time, he thought it could be part of an ancient machine Very Happy

Hmmm...I do have that bead. Maybe Silver Bead with Garnets, too? I don't have a Black Silk yet.

I also thought about a Waves bead. I don't have one of those yet.

I just noticed one of the UK jewellers has the waves bead for only £22.40, not sure how it compares with the US price but for us that is super cheap. Thought I would let you know just in case. I think smiling cylinders is a great idea! I have the silver with garnets bead and absolutely love mine, so I am bias but recommend that too.
