leather bracelet as necklace

I have tried using the leather bracelet as a necklace before, but have always stationed beads randomly on both strands.

This week I have been wearing it differently, and I have to say I LOVE it like this!!



I think the daisy always looks nice with the flowers bead and pearls, but I love how the bare strand of leather gives it a more casual edge.
It's the medium sized leather by the way, and sits on my neck just on the collar bone.

I have my naughty dragon sitting like that, with a lab on the top cord as well as the golden midgard serpent.

I like this!
My leather wont fit round my neck, to short with out a chain added, then it's too long!

Might need to move up to a medium for neck ware having seen this one though!

Absolutely, casual elegance, its when you see that lady in her jeans and a nice jacket really casual and then you look at her jewelry her diamonds, whopping classy silvers etc... on her wrist.. basically big bucks and its casual and it looks classy

Thank you for all the nice comments! I have to say, I like it so much I've been wearing it every day since I put it together, it may stay like this some time!
My bracelet is the old style medium one, I have a newer style black one but the leather seems to get twisted more somehow and doesn't look as good

That necklace looks great!! I have tried that before but mine is a bit short so it feels more like a choker. Need a longer length I guess.

I love this look Lollipop. I did note that your leather is not twisted and was interested to read your comment about that. The two leather bracelets I have are both the newer style and they both got twists in them in very short order. I do love wearing them as bracelets though.

On an other note, i do like how with the older style bracelets you can make the 2 strands different in length, perfect when wearing it as a necklace.

Oooh, my brown one is an older style one... have to try this now!!!
