New necklace with permanent greyhound lock

Today I could pick up my new necklace. Beadmama once showed us a necklace where she attached a greyhound lock to a thinner necklace than TB and had only 2 beads on it.
I so loved this look and when D4E offered another batch of greyhound locks for a good price I took the chance and had this made.

This is really great MMP, are the beads permanent as well?

This is lovely Mermaidspurse. I love the way you have made the lock the focal point. Great to show off such a beautiful piece in this way. I have just enquired about getting a greyhound lock from the designer in Denmark. Is this the best place to get one now?

Yes, I got a second Viking bead before it retires and that's my tiniest amber which I won't miss on a bracelet combo.
Beadmama had her gold Giraffe bead and a pearl on her necklace and I liked the contrast between the longer tube and the small round bead.

I love the greyhound lock front and center on a necklace, what a great idea! Has me wondering how the dragon lock might look worn in similar fashion.....TFS!
