Greyhound lock on leather

Thanks to a kind forum member, I am a proud owner of the iconic greyhound lock. I had small clasps added on both ends because I wanted to be able to wear it with bracelet and necklaces (the jeweller offered to oxidize the clasps but forgot). Right now I am enjoying it simply wearing it on the front of a leather necklace. The Norse-ness and ancient-ness of the design makes it so striking that it is lovely as a centerpiece. I may polish it up a bit to bring out the details but I was eager to share!

It does look amazing on leather. I've yet to figure out how I want to use mine... I wish they were still made and I had a couple of them.

I am so happy to see your picture. I took my new greyhound to the jeweler last week and decided to put the 2 clasps on it like you did. Your lock looks wonderful so I am glad I decided to go with the 2 lobster clasps.

The Greyhound Lock looks really striking set alone against the leather.

I've also been deciding what to do with mine... Was leaning towards the two lobster clasps as well so i can alternate between a silver or leather bracelet. Which lobster clasps did you use? Did you buy the TB one and split them?

I used the Trollbead lock on my greyhound lock. That is what I had. I am sure a jeweler has lobster clasps you can chose from also. I love my greyhound lock (thanks Sita) and am looking for another one.

Wow, your idea makes me change my mind about the Greyhound. I always thought I wouldn´t need one, but worn as a centerpiece on the leather necklace

I just got my greyhound lock, and I'm copying you, trollmoll! It's around my neck right now.
I'd found a black leather necklace on my Georgia Troll trek, so I was all ready when I got back to Canada and found Beadthrilled's package awaiting me.

WOW!!! This lock is wonderful. Now I must have one!!
