To me Beadsensation's new ambers have a wheel shape, not a barrel shape. The barrel ambers that are so rare have a long log-like shape.

So is the new TB shape a long bead or more of a wheel shape (like the green and yellow jades that are in the current regular collection)?

I will like a barrel amber, I am very pleased today is still 2011 and time for me to not say that my resulution is to buy no more beads. I think I will think again. I cant imagine glass beads as they will be big and heavy for me. Will the prices go up at this time?

I can't resist glitter. And I have problems resisting lots. I have been able to cut my spending but am still spending tooo much. You can only wear so many at a time.

From what I have seen on picture so far the barrel shaped glass don't interest me...
but I have learned to never say never with Tb....

Have to see the barrel shapes IRL. They will make great focal beads, especially with glitter. I hope this means more barrel ambers too! A golden carved barrel amber, a fat one with lots of glitter... I am going to go into a dead faint if I find either one...

A few years back, I saw Ottoman beads on Etsy and I fell in love with design. She didn't make her beads for a European bracelet, so I had these made special for me. I posted them here as they are not a typical bead shape.

I don't think I have used it in a couple of years, though looking at this (very old) picture, I think maybe I should!

I am very on the fence over new glass shapes, though I guess they have to go somewhere if they are to keep innovating, I will wait and see Smile

Wildthing, I like your barrel very much! Actually, the other artisan beads there are pretty spectacular, too.
I, also, have not worn the barrel glass beads at all. I am thinking that they would look better on a leather necklace as a statement piece (at least mine).

Thank you for showing your barrel beads. I still don't know whether I like them for my TB bracelets or not. If they are too large I'd rather wear them on a FN. Will have to see them IRL.
