Fuzzyfeet-I agree. Why does spring start at the end of January? As with many other releases, the barrel beads will probably be better in person than in photos.

I have no doubt the new beads will live up to our high expectations...can't wait to see them and further my collection a bit more. This will be my first new release since becoming a Trollbeads addict :-)

I am not sure I will like the barrel shape for glass and I do not like glitter beads, pretty sure though I will want some of the Chinese zodiac beads.

I just hope that the barrel shaped glassbeads are still recognizable as Trollbeads and don't look like 'any' artisan beads. I haven't seen any IRL yet, but like Ingrid I wasn't too impressed by the designs I saw on pics. I'd rather have barrel shaped ambers Neutral

I haven't seen any pics but will try and reserve judgement on barrel shaped beads, although initial reaction is my money will be saved for glass that's retiring.

I received an email newsletter from Bead Sensation with a photo of the new amber shape. I can't post the photo here because it has her Bead Sensation logo over it.

I like the idea of the new shaped beads - I had an email from BeadSensation too showing examples of the barrel shaped beads and thought they looked very good.

My sister collects Beachcomber beads, and I've always liked the different shapes and sizes of their range of beads.

I saw some of the barrel shaped glass beads pictured on FB and thought they looked great. I do share some of your concerns regarding quality. I certainly hope TB will pick up their quality control.

For me it will be the dragon lock and nothing else for a long while but that's ok Smile
