Yes! Excellent book, really kept the creepy atmosphere going and of course the twist at the end was marvellous. Have you read the Owl Killers by the same author?

I thought the Seer was a she, though I don't have one yet. I am looking for one with a purple glass
Those books sound interesting. I will pick them up today from the library. I love it when people suggest good books to read. Thanks.

He is really big, not so sure how he would look on a bracelet. I would love for TB to create a „Seeress“ once the „Seer“ retires : a bit more delicate and with a mountain crystal ball *pretty pretty please* queen

I love the seer and (s)he was always on my wishlist. But after I´ve seen the bead IRL on a few bracelets I backed away. It doesn´t look right on a chain.

I have him and love the design but he is very large and not very versatile. I am a huge HP and LOTR fan though, so he is a must have for me and I do not find him uncomfortable to wear on my wrist, surprisingly. He is stunning to behold!

First of all, my Seer is a wise woman who sits very comfortably on my wrist, much easier than Palm Island that is more naughty than my Naughty Dragon, with its little island sticking up in the air. My Seer has a deep blue gazing ball. If you like Treasures, Happy Universe, Daisy or Large Berry, The Seer will not seem so large.

The seer is beautifully made, esp. when he has a blue stone. For me he's too big for a bracelet.
I owned one once, and tried him on a chain. Even though that does look good in pictures, he tends to turn round at the chain, looking down, uhmmm, seeing a lot he shouldn't Embarassed

He is an expensive bead, to me he looks either creepy or cool and can't decide which. Could someone who has him post a picture of him or her on a bracelet. Pretty please?

Fuzz, would you say that Seer is bigger than Buddha?
Looks a bit bigger to my eye. Similar, sitting shape.

I have never thought of the Seer as a TB purchase for me. I've taken another look at it now that it is scheduled to retire. I would have to decide in a few years that I really want it but it's gone or really expensive. It is hard having other beads as a priority to buy when there are ones lower in my list that are retiring soon. Decisions, decisions!

My LD has one with a green bead. Hmmm...with the price increase....shoot. I think I may go for the Frog King, instead.

Well, what is the verdict? I have been intriqued too for awhile, couldn't decide if it was awfully pretty or pretty awful. I decided to order it, knowing I would either love it or hate it. My seer came with a bright blue orb. I am wondering what colors there are? They don't say and the picture looks green. I am happy to say I love mine! I looked at him from the bottom and it looks like a log and flames. It is a dark bead for sure, but I think it is lovely.

Small detail, I know, but I have picked it up and put it down because I couldn't decide what colour glass ball I wanted it to be holding.

Also, do you see the underneath of the bead more than any other view when it's actually on a bracelet? Is it better for a necklace setting?

I have him and yes he's big but I find he makes a great centre bead for a bracelet and always seems to 'sit' the right way up on my wrist and I don't think he's at all scarey. Very detailed.

I have one and really like him, I find that he sits nicely if I place him so he's facing my hand. If I have him the other way he spends a lot of time on his back or face down!

Lovely classic 'Trollish' bead for sure. I have it and love it. Highly recommend. Also - does seem to sit well on a bracelet. It is much chunkier than the Buddha bead.

ADMIRE, LOVE, WANT...on the wishlist :-) Been hunting for the best bargain, but agree that it's probably better to pick out IRL.

I caved, I ordered one. I did ask what color the glass was first, I didn't want the yellowy green glass in the stock photo.
