The Seer: buy or pass Empty The Seer: buy or pass

Now that he is retiring, I am more intrigued. How comfortable is he on a bracelet? He really looks like a small sculpture, suitable for placement on a window sill or stuck to the top of a computer monitor.

I went looking for him today, but the store did not carry him.

I've not seen him IRL, but he's been on my list for a while.

I find him a bit scary. I guess you'll have to see him IRL and try him out on your bracelet.

I would get him if I had the opportunity, but I've always loved the fantasy/myth type of stuff. I wish I could get a crystal ball to work for me!

He's beautiful....troll needs more mythical beads Smile
I'm getting him before he's gone...I have seen him and he's a good size...more on the large side....but he is so sweet Smile and you're right...he's like a little sculpture.
Everyone needs a little guardian seer that tells you your future cyclops

Seer was one of my first beads, I love him! He is very big but not as big as silver earth. He would make a good center piece on a necklace also. I would recommend adding him to your collection. I will be picking up a 2nd one now that he is retiring Wink

I had orderd one in my early collecting days....... and sent it back.
It is a very beautiful and detailed bead , but way too large for me.
It didn't work on a bracelet as I prefer smaller beads, although it will be a great centerpiece on a necklace.
You should give it a chance and try it IRL Very Happy
The best way to find out, if its meant to be for you Wink

I think it is a lovely little sculpture but the wrong shape to be a good bead.

It is huge! I have seen him in gold to; real chunky.
Because of his seize, he claims a certain place (centerpiece) in a bracelet, makes him less versatile.

IMO, the thing that makes a good seer is the color of stone he has.

I have seen him with yellow and didn't think he was very attractive, but I've also seen him with blue and that tells a different story!

If you could, I'd pick it out in person.

Those who have him: When he sits on his wrist, isn't there a large flat surface that sticks out...or is he meant to sit on your wrist (like he does in the catalog)?

Yes! Excellent book, really kept the creepy atmosphere going and of course the twist at the end was marvellous. Have you read the Owl Killers by the same author?

I thought the Seer was a she, though I don't have one yet. I am looking for one with a purple glass
