start in eastern Europe, welcome some special guests

The colours of the original prism kit were said to have been inspired by eastern Europe. I combined them with the Folklore kit (are they the only production glass beads not designed by Lise?) and am happy with the result:

I've been wearing this bracelet with another remake of the Arts and Crafts design:

Yesterday they were joined by a very special visiting bracelet that arrived from Sweden:

so I am fully trolled-up for my darling LilSil's tenth birthday today!

I love the prism combo and the theme. The prism kit was my second purchase form TB and I still adore the turquoise prisms. Thanks for the inspiration.

I don't think Lise actually has designed all earlier glass beads. IMO TB just starts acknowledging (sp?) the fact that many were designed by other artists.

@Snorkmaiden, that's interesting. I just saw Vaineta acknowledged as the designer in the catalogue - I think I've only ever seen Lise mentioned before (thought she must have been very busy!)
@Trollblossom, yes, LilSil started two years ago when she won a Pax bead in the first People's Bead competition, so of course she needed a bracelet and lock. LilSil only wears her bracelet on special occasions, but she does like making up designs for me sometimes.
