It's a start...
This is the start of my very first bracelet. It is going to be a beach themed bracelet in honor of my deceased parents who gave me the very best memories of summers at the Jersey Shore.
I'm going with a light blue/amber/cream combo with a few beachy silvers added in. Over the next few weeks I'm hoping to add a lot more to this bracelet and I already know this is going to be my favorite.

Re: It's a start...
Hi Jingles, What a wonderful start. We share the ocean theme remembrance in common. My first bracelet was inspired by happy memories with my mom on the coast, too. I haven't taken it apart, not even once. I am sharing a pic in case there is anything there for you to relate to. For example, for me, the black silk looked just like the mussels that would be stuck to the seaweed all over the rocks at low tide. Maybe it will encourage your imagination.. And, so that you know, wearing this bracelet does bring me a sense of comfort. I hope yours will do the same.

What a beautiful start, and such a heartfelt sentiment. You know, when you are sitting there in ten years time, surrounded by racks and racks of your trollbeads, this early bracelet will probably still be your most special

Re: It's a start...
My first one was also a memory bracelet. As far as I knew then, it would be my only one and it's still my favorite. You have a great start there.

Beautiful choices for your first bracelet. Beige/blue trace would be one of the most versatile beads, and for me it captures both the sunlight and the water - pretty amazing bead!

You have a lovely start there, I think a sea / beach theme is my favorite that you can do with TB's.
What other silvers are you hoping to incorporate?

Re: It's a start...
Thanks everyone for your kind words!
I had the best night last night, I went to a local jewelry store that buys old gold (I was a gold maniac in the early 90's!) and got a VERY nice chunk of $$ for it...what made this perfect for me is that this store is also our area's #1 TB dealer!!
I picked up 4 new beads, then came home and ordered the TB lighthouse silver and the nautilus shell from red bali frog and I'm still on the search for more today!!

It's beautiful and wow all those new beads you already bought...I can't wait to see a pic of them all added to your bracelet...
I have a sea themed one as well with the big fish lock. For silvers I have the mermaid and Neither fish or bird and am on the lookout for the flounder...Love that bead! Turtle is also on my list

As anyone who has followed my designs knows, I love multiples, and Silmaril is right about the Beige/Blue Trace. If you can find another as great as the one you already have, buy it.
