My first Design with Peter Pan Empty My first Design with Peter Pan

Post by mermaidspurse Sat Jan 29, 2011 9:13 pm

Peter Pan and the petal flower made their first appearance in the sun this morning!
I was so surprised how well one of my most neglected flower OOAKs goes with the Petals flower !

He behaves very well on a bracelet! As he's quite longish, he doesn't tend to turn at all on a fully packed bracelet, but I think it's no bead for a necklace, he tends to hang horizontally looking down when he's hanging free!

Never-never land looks fantastic on your combo! Shocked

Saw the little guy today and liked all his detail, but what was I supposed to do? Puck didn't want another Know-it-all around the house! Laughing

That's exactly what I thought would be the reason for you not buying him! And since my Puck moved to my best-friend a while ago as he never showed me that he could also sit on a bracelet scratch, I needed a substitute Laughing !

Love the combo. I'm liking this Peter guy more and more with each picture. Your new dark petals bead is indeed a perfect match for your flower OOAK!

Maybe DH could use some hints with regards to a Valentine's gift? Laughing

You do need to get it Mola! You have been wanting it for ever since I can remember! (i.e. when I joined TBS)

Your flower ooak is a perfect match for your new petals bead. As for Peter, I really like him on a bracelet. My Puck has moved on as well, so Peter Pan may end up moving into my house.

No, you can't use him like the elf bead (Puck)... But if you use your fantasy necklace lariat style, you could put him on. I tried it with my fantasy fairy and so my Peter Pan was in the company of a very big Tinkerbell Laughing ! But it looked quite cute!

No, no hole in his bottom Laughing ! Just thread him on and have him on the side. Wait, I'll post a pic...

I have my dictionary next behind me and i had to make a choice about these two words.

Very nice combo--amazing how the OOAK and the new bead coordinate! I think Peter is cute, but I'm not "totally" sold yet--have to decide when I see him for myself!
