Freya lock Empty Freya lock

Post by vampbutterfly Wed Aug 24, 2011 9:45 pm

I was realizing that some people had troubles with thier freya lock. I have one I have used for over a year everyday on my leather bracelet and it is strong and I have had no problems.
Is this true I should be watchful of this lock?

I have a freya lock and had been using it for 4,5 years when it broke (something wrong with the mechanism on the inside) a few weeks ago. Like you, I read stories about this lock being weaker than others but even though it was my only lock and I had been using it almost daily, I had never had any problems with it before.

If you look at these locks, sometimes the small loop is very thin and therefore can easily bend or brake.
Freya is my favorite lock, I´ve never had problems with it and even bought a second one Smile

I've been wearing my Freya lock all week and so far have had no problems with it but I might put a safety chain on just in case!!!

I purchased my Freya lock within the last year and use it frequently. Haven't had any problems but I also start to use a safety chain once I heard there might be problems with it.

I've been debating on whether to buy a Freja or not. I'm still undecided, but the idea of a lock breaking is troublesome.

I haven't had a problem and it's my favorite lock. I like how it isn't too feminine. I'm afraid to use my pearl lock. I haven't heard any stories but worried that I'll bang the pearl.
