What I've been working on

Hello all.. I do not participate often but have been reading more on BeadThrilled lately than I have been able to in the past. When I first heard about Trollbeads three years ago I really loved the Retro Kit. Back in early July I ended up in one of my favorite LDs and they still had the kit sitting there waiting on me on the Retired rack. So I brought it home and have come up with this combo that I think is a keeper. I will eventually change out the Lilac Edge with a Chalcedony or a smooth Smoky Quartz but for now I am happy with it.

I only have got "Elton" from the retro-kit, I love your bracelet, very happy design, fitting any dress, I do understand why you want to keep this unchanged or only slightly modified.

It looks great; I like the opaque quality of the retro kit.

Is the cross with the flower a Troll bead or something else ?

The Cross is from MelinaWorld. I heard about them on another forum. From what I was told they used to be the distributors for Trollbeads in Greece but are no longer. Their silvers have Troll size cores. Some of their beads are pretty cool. They have locks and glass too but the cores on the glass are larger core. I love it and I am glad I ordered it.

I like Lilac Edge with them on your bracelet.

This is a terrific design. I really like the lilac edge used here. I keep thinking about the kit, too. Right now I only have Carly, and I love incorporating it into my designs. I think yours has convinced me to add the rest to my list.

I love the difference the amethyst makes!! (unless I am mistaken there was another bead in its place before... although I am often mistaken )
I really need to try to make more bracelets like these... I just can't get away from one tone or two colours per bracelet - it's driving me mad!!!!!

One of the first designs I ever came up with on one of the bracelet builders a few years ago and I had Lilac Edge thrown on there. I tried a blue dillo there today but it was fatter than the Lilac Edge and meant I had to move everything to a longer bracelet and I really want to keep the lock I am using on this one instead of one of the smaller locks.

Lollipop,, you originally saw it with Violet Flowers in place of the Amethyst and Carla suggested an Amethyst to balance it out so once my Cross arrived I took it apart and added the Amethyst
