Mardi Gras Empty Mardi Gras

Post by Rogotroll Wed Jul 13, 2011 7:08 pm

Hooray, my new Mardi Gras bead arrived today, it has gone straight onto my tropical sea bracelet, with my beads from last week, waves, endless and ying yang. I think it's a beautiful bead.

Beautiful combo and Mardi Gras is perfection itself with your teal coloured beads (trollenvy). Waves is fabulous, I must sort one out for myself one of these days.

I have never seen the blues of Mardi Gras stand out like that. Makes it look just divine.

The first time I saw Mardi Gras I thought it was hideous. Then it grew on me and the last month I got the "can't live without"-feeling. So I went to my LD who luckily still had a couple of beautiful speciment in store and got my Mardi Gras too. Smile

I love it on your sea bracelet, it fits really well with the other turquoise.

Once I got past its terrible name - Mardi Gras colors are purple, gold and green in the States - I really grew to love this bead. Its mustard yellow bands and turquoise dots give both spice and texture to many lovely combinations, like yours.

RT, Your prism makes the Mardi Gras really stand out. I will have to try them together. Love the combo.
