Out of Africa
I had all my beads out of the bank safe last night and, taking them out of the box, I looked at a pipe cleaner bearing the two smoky and two golden quartzes and thought 'Hmmmmm!'
I have a new khaki safari style dress which I will wear to meet some friends in a cafe tomorrow afternoon, I'll feel like Out of Africa wearing the combo with it!

I've got the line from the song "in the jungle, the mighty jungle the lion roars tonight!" in my head now- that's a beautiful combo you made!!!

Re: Out of Africa
Mmmmm this is wonderful. The colours remind me of sun dried grasses. I can imagine the big cats creeping through them.

This is a fabulous combination!
Lions on the African savannah in the sunset...
Where is Robert Redford?
I have a couple of very light Golden quartz and after lots of use I could swear that they look much darker in colour...does anyone else noticed the same?

Have the pictures of the film mixed with the song in my head now
The quartzes look lovely on your safari combo !
Do you usually store your beads in a bank safe ?

Re: Out of Africa
Thanks everyone! I love wearing it, this one is going to stay together for some time!
Yeah, that's what I'm wondering as well...
Just the "surplus" 80-90% - I feel better with only a very small selection at home, most of which can live on my wrists. I exchange them about once a month, so they all get a fair chance of being used.

What you said - this pair was very light when I first bought it, I remember Uschi from njewels bringing them out from behind the sales counter and we all went oooh and aaah because they were such a dainty shade of yellow. Now they seem much darker to me .Trolls wrote:
