And with a very big thank you to a wonderful trollfairy ... I have now been able to complete my Amazonite bracelet by adding two beautiful Violet Flowers and a lovely Etruscan bead. I don't know the origin of the actual bead but I bought one for my sister and one for myself as it's the perfect Cornish bead as it depicts the 15 bezants which appear on the Cornwall Coat of Arms. Technically it should be a gold Etruscan bead as the Coat of Arms displays 15 golden bezants (gold coins) but silver works fine for me and my bank balance

The story goes that during the Crusades when the Duke of Cornwall was captured by the Saracens a ransom of 15 bezants was demanded. The people of Cornwall raised the money for the ransom and the Duke was set free. The Cornish moto is "One and All" as the Cornish had all helped, one and all, to raise the money.

The gorgeous colour of the Amazonite goes really well with my cardi which I definitely need at the moment seeing the weather has turned chilly!
