Not What I Expected (Again) – New Violet Stripe Photo Added Below

I went to my LD expecting to get Violet Stripe & the Ornamental Flower & the Poppy.  I came home with Floral Wishes/Wild Flowers (love the salmon base there was absolutely no sign of in the original campaign images – so how can we tell which bead it is?) and Freedom Feathers (creeped me out in the over-large campaign images but love the actual art deco look to it).  Will come back for the silvers Artichoke, Birds of a Feather & probably the triple cranes, and for the glass faceted Blossom Shade & Violet Stripe.

Great choices! Love your bracelet! I agree that the new glass looked a bit different in person than in the campaign photos.

That is the prettiest flower bead(whichever it is) that I have seen so far.

You' ve made a great choice! I have seen live images of the new glass beads that were so poorly made that a glass artist wouldn't evev list them in their sales section.....

It´s indeed the most beautiful flower bead from the spring release which I have seen yet.

I agree the glass flower bead you have is fantastic - the glass flower beads I saw (I think there were 8 of them) were disappointing and insipid. The stock images and the real things vary so much - not good!

I actually saw one of the flower beads with a *green* base in the photos of a retailer who shows actual images of the beads they sell . . .   I wonder what TB intended the base colors to be?!

I *did* end up with a Violet Stripe also (that I had pre-ordered online).  I like how it pairs with the Lavender Bud, unlike any previous TB purples.

I love the peachy-ness of the Wild Flowers bead.  I would have changed my planned purchases to grab that one.

Well, I ordered the Violet Stripe from a company that shows actual images of beads & even then they had set aside the wrong one.      I'm so glad I asked for extra photos confirm!

Oh this is soo lovely - my lavender but would love to have friend to come out and play with, too This release gats nicer and nicer the more IRL photos I see (*off she goes to chase her frightened purse* )

Maybe you saw the one I have received in the mail today. I thought from the original TB stock pics that it would have a hint of green and lavendar, so I grabbed that green one when I saw it.
I am pretty happy with it, it´s a bit paler than it looked on the picture and to my surprise the petals are much more delicate. Really pleased with it, it goes so well with the meditation bead

Thanks for showing the freedom feathers and the gorgeously coloured flower bead! I think this time there will be no escape for me, and I will actually have to buy these two, plus meditation and blossom shade. That is, unless my dealer keeps NOT getting them in. Not a single piece from the spring collection yet! Whyyyyyyy?
