African landscape - ADDED PHOTO

I couldn't wait to get my Africa beads onto a bracelet! Here they are at home with some jaspers and African animal silvers. These may be my favorite of the World Tour beads so far. They evoke Africa without cliche-d images.




UPDATED with black diamond, a nod to S.A's diamonds. I thought the diamonds would be a good counterpoint to the white seed beads. I don't have white diamond otherwise I would have tried that too... The beads came is a very cool beaded bag. I carry around a TB bag for bagging new purchases (who here doesn't have a gazillion too many little bags?) and this will be it from now on!

Zuzu's petals: the bead between the zodiac and giraffe is brown desert, very glittery but out of focus.

Thanks trollmoll on my computer, it almost looked like a jasper In the top 2 pic. But I could see it was clear around the color.
