Chinese LE Bracelet
Each jade, each charm was purchased seperately and I managed to stay just under the retail price if I Had bought it in one go. It was hard, if I had known at first how keen I was on the bracelet I would have taken the plung and bought it in one go as in the end it became a quest to perfect it.
Yes I know they will fade out but I love it. Its a long bracelet so scope for extra's
The "whites" are white, light yellow, light green.. lol
the Orange Ochre..? was found in a batch labelled light yellow I made it my dark yellow. The dark yellow looks like greenish yellow..
the dark blue is navy, the light purples are fading and the dark purple is ok but for how long?
I wear the bracelet at least once a week, its stored hanging without touching anything in a darkish non direct sunlight spot so only time will tell.
I found a scroll seperately and a box plus documents seperately so truly completed with extras.

Congratulations, love the full bracleet with the Jades! It's fun to collect them, I was so happy when I completed my silver set.

Re: Chinese LE Bracelet
Love it! I bought all my China beads separately as well! I ended up with 3 different shades of blue and two amber colored jades, but still no light yellow or yellow green ones. I know I should just go ahead and get them while I still can! I bought the box and scroll extra too!

Love love love this Grumpy -- I have finished the silvers, but will likely not finish the jades; too disappointing when the color fades. You have made GREAT selections here!

Re: Chinese LE Bracelet
Beautiful! It is still one of the best ready to wear designs by Trollbeads imho!
When Luvdatrolls lured me back into TBS more than year ago.... (thanx Luv!) and I started reading posts again, I knew 'it was now or never' so I got a full Chinese bracelet at once. By that time, I guess Oct. 2009, the separate bead sets were quite sold out. Still happy I bought the bracelet, as it is a beautiful piece and very different from anything any other brand offers till today!
I always admire you girls collecting one bead at a time. I can't, and frankly don't have time to. But now and then a bead pops up like Tish' her sale or when Macs has some on the site like yesterday and I go for it...
I wonder if there's a way to stop the beads from the presumed fading. Mine are still like brand new, would love to keep them that way!
Did anyone experience fading of the jade beads?

Re: Chinese LE Bracelet
Yes smaug, rainbow said her purple one faded, also someone on tbs stated their dark blue one faded.
I have also noticed my agate bright pink has become irregular.. so basically this is what i expect from my Chinese LE, i hang mine up, there is no direct sunlight in this spot. rather than resting them on silk. You cant win, as either the beads are touching each other etc.. so I wear them regularly do you?

Re: Chinese LE Bracelet
I quite often wear the bracelet. Haven't got as much jades as you have though, so mine won't touch another jade bead. But none of the beads have faded even the slightest. I store my bracelet in the soft cloth pouch that came with it, in the wooden box.
Re: Chinese LE Bracelet
I love it Grumpy............good job!!!
Yes, my blue is the one that has faded the most so far, but not as bad as a couple I have seen.
