oh... I love the Koboldhof and the squirrels

the problem with my sapling is not so much the care and watering, but my cats, they eat up every plants, even peppermint and then they get diarrhoe...
here the pic, as I won't have any time next week, unfortunately...

Maybe you should install some sort of deer fencing. My uncle has to wrap his newly planted saplings with some sort of fence that keeps the deer away so they can't eat them. Should be sufficient for cats as well.

Oh, it is a wonderful tree, already I keep my fingers crossed that the cats will find it too untasty

Our garden is finally beginning to peek through the ground. The first to sprout are always the ferns. They are just little now, but soon they will grow and then when they unfurl they are so lush


This is also when our rhubarb starts to sprout. I love strawberry-rhubarb pie, so I watch our rhubarb quite closely so that I get the maximum yield from it! Sometimes I get a second crop, but usually just the one.


We also start to spend more time outside. Rather than just rushing to/from school, we start to wander. Evenings and weekends we spend in our front or back yard. And our kids pick flowers for us (you can see the grass isn't quite with the program yet   ).

I had forgotten this challenge, will try and find a nice photo tomorrow. Have been lucky to have been away again this weekend in France

Very cute little rabbit, Fleur Does your little helper have one standing and one hanging ear? I used to have a rabbit like that when I was a child but he was cream coloured and a „Deutscher Widder“, so a rather big fellow

When she's relaxed, she often puts one ear down.
Could be, that the breeds did get a bit mixed at my uncle's farm
Honestly, sometimes I am not even sure, if it's a bunny: she purrs like a cat and follows me like a dog, especially in the garden.
