Important: Additional information on chocolate

One of our members was practically forced by her evil postman to take out the chocolate from her Halloween parcel, and I have been asked about import regulations for chocolate to the EU. While I am no expert and can give no guarantee on this information, I googled and found the following link on the German custom´s website: http://www.zoll.de/EN/Private-individuals/Travel/Entering-Germany/Restrictions/Animals-and-plants-products-containing-animal-or-vegetable-substance/Protection-against-animal-diseases/Provisions-on-the-import-of-animal-products/provisions-on-the-import-of-animal-products.html
According to this, chocolate in personal consignments is allowed - yay

Good information Trollperle I am pleased that our German members can receive chocolate in their Secret Santa parcels.

I had trouble sending miniature bottles of whisky to the USA a couple of years ago.  I had to unpack the parcel in the post office and remove the whisky. Luckily, there were lots of people in the queue who offered to help me "look after" the whisky though I managed to look after it all by myself

Whisky - wow I am sure that there were lots of „helpful“ people

The chocolate information might be valid for the whole EU as it refers to a European regulation (Regulation (EU) No 206/2009 - no guarantees though, as customs is a world all in itself).

Please remember that you may sign up until tomorrow, Sunday, 02.11.2014. I will close off the list Monday morning when I wake up, that way Sunday no matter where you live should be covered

I have my last day off work on Monday 03.11.2014, and will try to send out the swap partners and addresses on Monday because the rest of the week will probably be rather hectic.

I am still missing some addresses, therefore, if you have not already done so, pretty please send me your name and address by Sunday!!! Only then can I send you your swap partner´s addresses by Monday 03.11.2014! Otherwise I will probably only find the quietness (I would not wish to mix up addies and names ) again next Saturday...

But apparently, since Royal mail was privatised I'm not allowed to send booze anymore, so I had to swap them out, sorry.



It's going across the pond, so it might take awhile.

Oh yum, yum, yum!! Tea for me, tea for me!! Now if you would just let me see in all the pretty wrapped packages!! You are always the first out of the gate PBee....so impressive.....I'm usually the last because I hem and haw!!

(I will admit to being naughty and continuing to send little booze nip bottles.....bad Trollingalong, bad Trollingalong )

I'm going to shop this weekend but I think I know everything that I'm getting......that is always subject to change.....I hope others are as crazy as I am about these things......!!

Twinings is the best tea. The pretty packaging on the tea bags is nice inspiration for a bracelet combo.
