I did some scoping out last week of what was available so that I had ideas when I got my name, but I still have to get my package together.

People here looked at me like I had gotten crazy when I asked for Halloween wrapping today  - have to improvise......... How much I wished for a propper Hallmark shop at this time of year!!!

@Mabel, that is exactly the reason why I did not participate, there is never any decent Halloween stuff available here in the shops, sometimes horrid stuff just one week before...maybe I should order something online now for next year...

So excited!! I've got my bead all picked out, now to shop for the rest of the goodies.

There isn't anything Halloweeny here either, mine all came from Amazon and Zazzle.
So I had to order my Halloween gear the day I put my name down for the swap and pray that customs didn't stop me.

I have already chosen what to send but for the packaging I have to improvise. Here in my country Halloween is not a big event. But I will try hard to work out something really nice!

Wow, fantastic packages. I, too, had to order some stuff from Amazon and I will choose a bead this week, no Halloween stuff here but that would never deter me, there are always ways and this is my favourite swap, and the goodies do not need to be perfect, they just need to come with heart

Here is another spooky package that left my home to travel the world! Boo!
Yesterday I wrapped it together with my cats! What fun they had playing with the wrapping paper. Not that they were allowed to play with it ... they were just unstoppable and had the greatest fun!

I know, I posted mine on the 16th so it must be almost there.

Posted mine yesterday. Hope it arrives safely!!! They told me it should get there by next week. The only bummer is the post office told me to take my chocolates out as one is not supposed to list food on a customs form. I did what they said for fear of some unknown customs agent seizing it and keeping everything. I don't send a lot of packages overseas from the states so maybe you ladies can advise me for next time. Not to worry, though, there are plenty of non edible goodies in my package, too, as well as a really fun bead that I was sorely tempted to keep its so cute and perfect for these autumn months.

Also today I got a note in the door that they tried to deliver something to me and since I'm not expecting anything else yet… Well, we'll see tomorrow when hubby picks it up for me!
