Funny, my package arrived today and my bracelet is a bit longer than expected, I will use it on a different combo with larger beads and then it will be o.k,

Although it is good news for the fans, I don't think it's very cool of D4E. Other LDs have been strictly told to only sell it as a set and then D4E does it anyway, attracting customers away from other LDs just trying to follow TB rules. But hey, the problem wouldn't be there in the first place if TB didn't do stupid "only set" rules...

Actually now I'm wondering if I'm wrong about the slightly shorter length making an appreciable difference  I'm wearing the new lock (does it have an official name?) with the same length chain I use for Freja/Lace locks and it's not too tight . . .  So use your own judgment because I probably overreacted

I bought 2 yesterday and I called Nadia to make sure my chains were 19 cm, as all my trollbeads and faerybeads chains are 19 cm, no matter which lock I wear them with.

Nadia said they were indeed 19 cm and the lock was 2 cm (on katzenmaiers you choose the stories of you bracelet with the total lengh including the lock and I chose both of mine to be 21 cm).

The story glass on d4e is 56,99 €, the lock sells separately for 56,99 € too.
But as you can get bead + lock + bracelet for 99 € (and eventually even a discount on that), this is not what I'd call a bargain

It is only worthy it if you want multiples. I bought 2 from Nadia yesterday but I still want 1 or 2 more of the bead, as those vary so much. On the other hand, I don't need 3 or 4 of the same lock.

My beads arrived a couple of minutes ago and I can't stop staring at them. I threw together a really quick combo, now I will try to take some pictures of it.

Even if I'd only wanted multiples of the facetted Aurora (and yes, I do), I'd take the set: the bracelet and/or lock will make a lovely gift for family or friends or maybe anyone on the forum here will only want the lock?
Compared to the price of the single glass, the set price is really good.

I noticed the price of the uniques have skyrocketed there, too. I have seen a pattern of releasing them with a higher price tag, and then reducing the price here and there. It is a good strategy, but now the beads are very overpriced presently.

The pictures don't do them justice, they are even prettier in real life.

Very pretty. The color seem to alter with the beads it is with.

I love how it matches the old pink prism! But it saddens me how they don't match the ones they were intended to match: the original auroras.

I am still deciding if I want to get 2 darker faceted auroras to match my original auroras or if I want to get one more faceted aurora to match the 2 I already have.

They are beautiful and I  the whole bracelet!

Maybe, but it makes up for it with the bloom! Looking forward to seeing it in person.

Maybe the loop of the big end is a bit smaller but in length I think they are roughly the same.

From left: Elephant lock, Golden Flower (old), Tree, Stories, Laces, Mexico.

Everyone's is so beautiful here. I went to my Closest LD today to get the set, but they only got one in and it was pale and blah. The lock is beautiful, but smaller than I thought. It is an OK size, I just hoped it would be bigger. Not sure if I will expend the energy to find a nice set or not.

Engel, I love your bracelet!  Your two faceted auroras are lovely!  I especially love the one on the right with more pink.

I've seen 4 so far at 2 LDs.  They have all been on the paler side and not a good match for my aurora.  The faceted auroras are a nice match for the moonlight bubbles bead from the purple heaven glass kit.
