Mythical northern lights
So I wanted to do this for quite a while and now with my new dichros I'm finally able to assemble a night sky bracelet with a touch of norse mythology. I tried to capture the dichros sparkle with my camera but I guess that went not so well. So the first pic is very night like the second one a tad brighter but still dark for a nocturnal feeling. (Sadly I have no matching lock right now, the greyhound lock would be fine but with it I would need an even shorter bracelet...)

Very very beautiful in a starkly dark nightish way I think the Freya lock would also look beautiful with it!

Re: Mythical northern lights
Thank you Ladys
You're right, I totally forgot about the freya lock, that one would match thematically although I think it looks too much 'locky'. I mean too much like a plain lock. Gosh I'm so under-equipped lock wise. I just have the swan lock and the greyhound lock. (BUT a dragon lock is on it's way )
I was thinking about getting a mexico lock, because it's a bit colourful and I like the dichros in it.
I hope that many nice locks will be made in the future that are a bit more elaborate - especially the hook ends need to be made prettier - like the swan heads on the swan lock. hhhhmmmm maybe I'm a bit too demanding as well...

Beautiful bracelet! I really love your choice of silvers. I love the Freya lock since it is so simple and straightforward but it might not be for everyone. Since locks are so pricey - get something you LOVE! I agree the Mexico lock would look great with this bracelet.

This is fabulous! Those custom dichroics you got are TDF!!
I agree the Mexico lock or the Freya lock would look great and definitely the greyhound, but I know what you mean about the chain length.

Beautiful, minty! LOVE the dichroic beads, so unusual and such depth lock-wise I'd really like the Freya with this!

Minty do you need a Greyhound Lock? I have one that I have never used.

Hi, thank you Bugladydi - well I already have a Greyhound Lock, it's attached to a leather bracelet, but thank you very much for your offer. I think I will save some money for a Mexico Lock, I hope I find one with green and blue on each side and no orange.

Hi, I've just seen your post now as I was on holidayHeatherD wrote:Wow, your dichroic barrels are great! Where did you find them?
The dichro barrels were made by http://www.etsy.com/de/shop/tracidawn78
Unfortunately she had no beads in her shop for a while...
Here is her flickr where you can check out her beads including more dichros

Re: Mythical northern lights
This is such a beautiful yet "weighty" design, I think that the Mexico lock would be perfect for it, too. The Mexico lock is heavy enough in appearance to not be overwhelmed by the large beads and obviously would be a great match with the dichroic glass.
